So Who’s This Guy?
Sometimes life leads you to interesting places. For me, that place was advertising. After graduating college in 2011, I found myself unemployed. Well. If you can count scanning files while watching prestige television employment, I technically had a job. It was then, when all hope seemed lost, that I landed an internship at Firstborn. I was going to be a copywriter.
Since then, I’ve led projects and won pitches. Proofread about eight million decks. Gone on shoots to exotic locations. (Yeah, we’re talking Bushwick. And Romania.) I’ve written mountains of CTAs and presented can’t-pass-up ideas like a gingerbread house made of nachos. I’ve worked on clients with impressive names. Adidas. MTN DEW. Beats. Jägermeister. Smirnoff. Facebook. NYU. Jet. ANA. Rolex. Audible. The list goes on.
I’ve had the honor of being chosen for the Young Lions Creative Academy in Cannes and have had some of my work recognized by the biggest award shows in the industry. All of that’s just to say that there are people out there, besides my mom, who think I’ve got a handle on this whole advertising thing.
